You’ve been taught that some people are just naturally photogenic. That you need to know what to do with your hands, feel confident in front of the camera, or show up knowing exactly how to be photographed.
You don’t.
You don’t need to perform for me. You don’t need to practice poses in the mirror or spend the entire session wondering if you’re doing it right. My job is to create the space, give you direction when you need it, and let you settle in enough to actually be yourself.
My approach is laid-back, intentional, and built around the belief that photos don’t have to feel like a production to be meaningful. We’ll take our time. We’ll move, explore, talk, laugh, make something weird, and probably forget about the camera for a while.
Because the best photos aren’t reserved for people who know how to be photographed.
They happen when you finally realize you never had to.
I’m Bella, a photographer, horse girl, dog person, and firm believer that almost everything is better when you do it outside. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually at home with my animals, riding my horses somewhere I probably don’t have service, planning my next trip to the desert, or convincing myself I definitely need another hobby.
I didn’t become a photographer because I love perfect poses or pretty pictures. I love people. I love getting to know what matters to you, watching you slowly forget there’s a camera around, and finding the little moments that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. The way someone reaches for their person without thinking. The version of you that comes out when you finally stop worrying about whether you’re doing it right. The things that feel ordinary now but might mean everything someday.
That’s why my approach is pretty simple. I want you to feel comfortable enough to actually be yourself. I’ll give you direction, create space for things to unfold naturally, and never expect you to show up knowing how to be photographed. Whether I’m documenting the day you get married, the season before everything changes, the work you’ve poured yourself into, or the animal who has somehow become part of your soul, the heart of what I do is always the same.
I’m here to make photographs that feel like your life. A little imperfect, deeply personal, sometimes weird, probably a little wild, and worth remembering exactly as it was.

Once you’re booked, I’ll help you shape a day that actually feels like you. That can look like location ideas, timeline guidance, permit help, or just talking through what you want your day to feel like. Whether you want something simple or a full adventure, we’ll build it together in a way that feels intentional and not overwhelming.
03. show up and be in the moment
You don’t need to perform or have it all together.
This is your day. You get to be present in it, take it all in, and experience it as it happens. I’ll guide you when you need it and step back when you don’t, so everything feels natural and easy instead of staged or rushed.
And then?
Within four weeks of working together you'll have a fully curated gallery delivered straight to your email. From there you can relive your day whenever you want.
