When Dona’e and Steve reached out to me inquiring about their engagement session, was struck immediately by their passion for adventure! But I never could have guessed how kind, loving, and fun they’d be in person! They told me their vision for the session was fun, out of the box engagement photos, and you know that’s something I always gravitate toward! But what is most incredible about this pair is undeniably the love they have for each other. So, as we prepared for their Oahu engagement session, I grew more excited by the day to spend time with them and document their captivating love story.

When Dona’e and Steve met they instantly fell in love! Now years later they travel around the states in their RV with their sweet Aussie pup! But on their first date, I bet they didn’t imagine they’d someday be swimming on an island during a Oahu engagement session with their wedding day on the horizon! And from everything they’ve told me about the celebration they’re planning, it’s going to take everyone’s breath away! Okay, I’ll give you a hint: they are planning an east coast beach wedding! I can’t wait to see it all come to life!

As we took their engagement photos, daydreaming about their upcoming “I do”s the whole time, Dona’e and Steve mentioned they were excitedly looking forward to seeing the ocean waves in their photos. Boy, did we ever capture exactly that! We even jumped in to get up close and personal with the waves! When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your photographer is create the images of your dreams that bring your personalities to life, so delivering on these wishes is so rewarding!
